Get up to 5500 watts at a great price!
The SW Plus provides sine wave output with even higher surge for motor starting, high efficiency, and low idle current, at a new lower price. The SW Plus 4024 and SW Plus 4048 feature multiple step, low distortion 4000 watt continuous sine wave output (up to 40oC) with 94-95% maximum efficiency as well as a 110 amp/24 volt or 60 amp/ 48 volt continuous rated 3-stage charger. Units may be operated in series to provide 8000 watts at 120/240 volt AC power. The SW Plus 5548 produces 5500 watts with a built in 75 amp charger. Two units can provide up to 11,000 watts. The new SW Plus 2524 and 2548 models provide most of the features of the larger units for those needing less power.
Features include:
1 watt idle power, non-volatile memory, current compensated low battery cut-out, remote battery temperature compensation, a full feature LCD meter, reduced TV and radio interference, and automatic generator start capability. (Optional on SW Plus).
THE SW SERIES OFFERS SEVERAL OPERATING MODES:
Generator Support Mode:
If generator output voltage or current falls below user adjustable limits, charging is interrupted and inverter takes over loads.
Standby Power Mode:
When AC power fails, transfer to inverter power is no longer than 34 milliseconds. With grid power and generator connected, the unit can start the generator if the grid fails (Optional on SW Plus). After grid power returns, generator is automatically stopped.
Battery Voltage Transfer Mode:
If the batteries are low, a current compensated low battery setpoint triggers connection to the grid and begins charger operation.
Generator Start Mode:
(Optional on SW Plus) Generator start can be triggered by battery voltage, load size in amps or time of day. Quiet time may be set during which the generator will not start unless a must start override voltage is reached. Warmup seconds, maximum cranking seconds and maximum starting attempts are some of the user adjustable parameters. OK for 2-3 wire start AC or DC.
Utility Interactive Mode:
(Not yet available on SW Plus) Operating as a bi-directional battery charger, power from any source that tries to raise the batteries above their programmed float voltage is delivered to the grid. A grid usage timer can be set to allow selling of power to the utility only during prescribed hours. Utility Interactive Mode can only be enabled with the addition of the GTI (Grid Tie Interface).
Peak Load Sharing Modes:
(1) The SW series may be programmed to operate from batteries only during a specified period of the day. Batteries may be charged during lower rate periods.
(2) During a specified time of day, power is delivered to the grid from the batteries.
Three user adjustable voltage-controlled relays are provided to activate charging sources and loads. (Optional on SW Plus).
Selecting modes, enabling features and adjusting parameters are easily accomplished by moving through a menu tree that is displayed on the control panel's LCD read-out. The LCD displays inverter amps, input amps, load amps, battery volts DC and inverter volts AC. Additionally, control panel LEDs report the status of eight battery charger and AC input conditions.
All SW and SW Plus inverters are certified by CSA to meet UL specification UL1741.
